HSE Report RR778 - Feasibility of storybuilder software tool for major hazards intelligence
18/02/2010The aim of the HSE research was to investigate the feasibility of using the software tool Storybuilder version 2.0.34 (2008), developed by the Workgroup Occupational Risk Model (WORM) project in the Netherlands, for recording and analysing major hazards loss of containment (LOC) incident data as a tool to better understand how accidents happen and where prevention efforts should be focused. The ultimate aim of the project is to determine if Storybuilder can provide enhanced intelligence about major accident hazards and therefore allow better targeting of HSE intervention resources.
