'Jobsworths' are putting lives at risk, warns chemical engineering Chief

Leading international process safety experts have teamed up to open India’s first centre for process safety. The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), the Centre for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) and the Indian Chemical Council (ICC) are co-creating the centre, designed to help bring Indian process safety standards in line with other developed nations. The Centre is set to open in June 2008 in Mumbai.
